Michael Taylor at the FDA who has helped for years Monsanto, worked there, an attorney in their law firm, behind RBGH, and wrote to reduce the effectiveness of the Delaney Amendment forbidding cancer in our food. Aspartame continues to violate the Delaney Amendment which has remained in law since 1958.

Here is a list of some of the terrible things he has done for industry to make our food less safe and push Monsanto's monstrosities: http://www.politicalfriendster.com/showPerson.php?id=2590&name=Michael-Taylor

To put him in the FDA AGAIN is an abomination. He is under the FDA Commissioner and you can be sure is making the decisions. Everybody should ask their Senator or Congressman to sponsor even another GAO Investigation. I wrote the GAO to let them know he's there again. In former GAO investigations they did nothing. http://www.mpwhi.com/open_letter_to_the_gao.htm I sent them to my Senator and Congressman. Please everybody send it to yours and get Congress involved. Only an arm of Congress can start a GAO investigation. Read on below.

Notice at the VERY bottom you see the blurb that he was the VP for Public Policy for Monsanto but right BEFORE that you see he was a LAWYER at King and Spalding - that is Monsanto's main law firm. That was when he "assisted" the FDA and USDA in writing the "substantial equivalence" measure which, if you are unfamiliar, basically said, back when GMO foods first were being "approved" by the FDA, that since GMO products were BASICALLY the same as non GMO then there was no need to actually TEST them to see if they would do any harm to people, the environment, or farming practices. This SICKENS me! Please post this on your FB and twitter accounts. It is APPALLING that these people KEEP getting appointed to these jobs! The fox is in the henhouse, people!
