You may remember when Pepsi first advertised the change of sweetener in Diet Pepsi. When you say a change in sweetener the first thing you think is they are going to remove the existing sweetener:

Now you have the admission that PepsiCo emphatically knows that aspartame breaks down, and always has. Coke and Pepsi are the first two main members of the National Soft Drink Association, now American Beverage. Here is their protest against aspartame that was added to the congressional records in 1985, no doubt because they had full knowledge and then turned around and lobbied for NutraSweet. People kept telling me Pepsi is removing aspartame. I said, "No, they won't unless made to because aspartame is addictive, they know it and they also know people getting off of it will wake up well from all types of symptoms and diseases in FDA records and experts' medical texts like Dr. H. J. Roberts "Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic" and Dr. Russell Blaylock's "Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills". Sure enough all they did was add Acesulfame Potassium. This caused cancer and leukemia in original studies. You may remember how outraged CSPI was when they started adding this to soda pop because of its toxicity.
Dr. Roberts mentions in "Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic" on page 972: "Acesulfame K stimulates insulin secretion directly from the pancreatic islets, and potentiates glucose-induced insulin release (Liang 1987(. Its carcinogenicity has not been resolved. Moreover, there is evidence that Acesulfame K induces significant dose dependent chromosomal aberrations in mice with doses in the "no-toxic-effect range (Mukherjee 1997)."
He has also said it apparently produced lung tumors, breast tumors, rare types of tumors in other organs (such as the thymus gland), several forms of leukemia and chronic respiratory disease in several rodent studies, even when less than maximum doses were given.
Also, Marvin Schneiderman, Ph.D. Former Associate Director of Field Studies and Statistics at the National Cancer Institute said: "I find the actual studies and the data analysis seriously flawed. New tests, properly designed, executed, and analyzed are needed. The usual consequence of poor tests is to make it harder to find any effects. Why did Pepsi do it, add Acesulfame K? They say they want to prevent the taste from degrading over time. Really?
When you put diet soda in front of Seven Eleven’s and such , especially in hot areas like Arizona you get formaldehyde cocktails from the conversion from the free methyl alcohol. ("While Science Sleeps" by Dr. Woodrow Monte - http://www.whilesciencesleeps.com) Coke and Pepsi pick up their diet products when victims complain of the "burning tongue"! Dr. James Bowen explained it.
"The intact NutraSweet/aspartame molecule to which the tongue and its very sensitive neural structures are uniquely exposed is by far the most potent toxin in the whole picture. The protective mechanism in the tongue elicits burning from the sweet taste buds on the front of the tongue in response to continued or overwhelming exposure, as the cause may be, by noxious toxins. The phenomenon of the bleed over or shorting out through the damaged myelin sheath with neuropathies in general and methanol alcohol poisoning in specific, is well known to medical science to cause normal sensations to be turned into pain sensations.
“ The very structure of the tongue puts tremendous pressure and shearing forces on the nerves that are involved in it, thereby producing neuropathic pain from sick nerves. The production of burning sensation in response to autoimmune inflammation and allergy is a common experience and is well known to anyone with an allergic sore throat. The nerves subserving the tongue are cranial nerves not spinal nerves. Therefore, they are not protected the same way spinal nerves are. They exit the skull through small holes called foramina. Bells Palsy and trigeminal neuralgia are examples well known to medical science wherein cranial nerves when swollen cause these types of problems when for any reason they are impinged in the foramina."
This may be a bit technical to some but basically the burning tongue is caused by neuropathy. Peripheral neuropathy is a nerve disorder characterized by tingling, numbness, unusual sensations, weakness or burning pain. This is a big time problem with aspartame.
I've been taking case histories and talking to people about their burning tongue for 20 years. Dr. Bowen explains the burning sensations are also common to neuropathies during the recovery period. Is Pepsi tired of picking up Diet Pepsi, and they don't want to have to discard it. So now there are two sweetener poisons in Diet Pepsi.
The FDA has ignored the Delaney Amendment for years. All of these sweeteners are illegal. Dr. Morando Soffritti recently did a study on sucralose and found it to be carcinogenic too.
On August 1, 1985, FDA toxicologist, Dr. Adrian Gross, told Congress that at least one of Searle’s studies has established beyond any reasonable doubt that aspartame is capable of inducing brain tumors in experimental animals and that this predisposition of it is of extremely high significance.... In view of these indications that the cancer causing potential of aspartame is a matter that had been established way beyond any reasonable doubt, one can ask: What is the reason for the apparent refusal by the FDA to invoke for this food additive the so-called Delaney Amendment to the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act?"
The Delaney Amendment makes it illegal to allow any residue of cancer-causing chemicals in foods. Dr Gross concluded by asking, Given the cancer-causing potential of aspartame, how would the FDA justify its position that it views a certain amount of aspartame as constituting an allowable daily intake or safe level of it? Is that position in effect not equivalent to setting a tolerance for this food additive and thus a violation of that law? And if the FDA itself elects to violate the law, who is left to protect the health of the public? Congressional Record SID835:131 (8/1/85)”
So notice Dr. Gross says the FDA should not have been able to set an ADI because aspartame causes cancer and violates the Delaney Amendment. Then it was raised obviously because they knew it would be abused when it was approved in carbonated beverages, especially since its addictive. The reason it’s addictive is methanol is classified as a narcotic. It causes chronic methanol poisoning. This affects the dopamine system of the brain and causes the addiction.
It was Dr. Adrian Gross that said Searle should be indicted for fraud. He really exposed aspartame. So what did FDA do? They transferred him to EPA.
When Cher was just about to sign an agreement with NutraSweet to continue to advertise it, I let her know how deadly it is and explained it can trigger chronic fatigue syndrome, which she had. She did not renew her contract.
Coke bragged how much Lucky Vanous did for Diet Coke. He was called the Diet Coke Hunk. When he was in Atlanta I threw him a box of records and he caught it and realized what it would do to the brains of our children. He was on Hard Copy 58 days later no longer working for Coke and already had a new job. He also has integrity big time. I had included the protest of NSDA. No way to argue with their own words!
Michael Fox was a Diet Pepsi spokesman. He asked why he got Parkinson's, an old man's disease, at the age of 30.

Michael Fox, Star of “Spin City”, “Family Ties” and many movies, suffers from Parkinson's Disease and once asked how a 30 year old man would get this old man's disease. Michael Fox has also been a Diet Pepsi spokesman and informants say he is addicted drinking many a day. Aspartame/NutraSweet in Diet Pepsi is a neurotoxin that triggers neurodegenerative diseases, and can precipitate Parkinson's. Fox has been going downhill because of the wild movements and writhing he's been suffering. He is unable to control his body. Aspartame, in reality a drug, also interacts with other drugs and changes the dopamine of the brain. There is no way for Michael to improve until someone gets him off the Diet Pepsi.
Dr. James Bowen says: "Many NutraSweet victims report Parkinsonian symptoms. This should be no surprise because every biochemical component of the aspartame molecule is implicated in producing Parkinsonian structural damage and creating a biochemical basis for Parkinsonian symptoms.
“Aspartame is a source of methanol alcohol. Experts in neurodegenerative disease from alcoholism recognize that methyl alcohol is the component of beverage alcohol that causes neurodegenerative disease in alcoholics, Parkinson's Disease. Beverage alcohol is grain alcohol or ethyl alcohol. However, methyl alcohol is also present in trace amounts in alcoholic beverages. It is the factor that produces the neurodegeneration. Methyl alcohol accomplishes this even though the ethyl alcohol serves as a protective factor. Aspartame on the other hand affords no such protection and the structural components of the molecule are so arranged that the methyl alcohol from aspartame is probably 500 to 5000 times more active in producing toxicity than it would be alone.
The structural damage in the basal areas of the brain where Parkinson Disease structural damage occurs from the dicarboxylic amino acid neuroexcitotoxins is a problem long recognized. So aspartic acid even in and by itself is a recognized source of the damage to the basal ganglia where Parkinson's Disease degeneration occurs. As with methyl alcohol the molecular structure of the aspartame molecule probably makes the aspartic acid damage from aspartame 5000 times more potent than from free aspartic acid on a mg. per mg. basis. The brain with loss of neural tissue to produce the dopamine, a neurotransmitter necessary to let the brain circuitry function normally is no longer producing dopamine in sufficient amounts in these structures. The metabolic impact of the phenylalanine isolate from aspartame is to remarkably decrease dopamine production thus making Parkinson symptoms much worse. The phenylalanine isolate out competes all other amino acids at enzyme sites in the brain. This includes the decarboxylase enzyme sites. Therefore, the amino acid tyrosine is not decarboxylated to tramine, which is the first step in producing dopamine in the brain. Therefore, the brain dopamine levels plummet remarkably.

I know you have one baby and then there was an unfounded rumor you were pregnant again. Were you using aspartame/NutraSweet/Equal/AminoSweet, etc? Dr. Ralph Walton is now doing a study of women who used aspartame during pregnancy, and the form is on my web site, http://www.mpwhi.com In Dr. Blaylock’s book mentioned above he does tell you what to give your child and if the child survives the aspartame you may not see problems until puberty. He also says the reactions to aspartame are not allergic but toxic like arsenic and cyanide. There have been several studies proving aspartame causes cancer, three by Dr. Morando Soffritti, and a recent new one about lymphoma and multiple myeloma.
